My life as a Cook

How I got to this point

I started to cook at the age of 14 in Sri- Lanka, well actually, I tended to help my mother with small jobs such as cutting and mixing. Nevertheless I picked up a lot of things my mother did when she cooked different meals and I started to differentiate what made the curry, rice or etc taste in a certain way such as the turmeric powder or the curry powder. Sometimes I would see how my mother cooked meals and kept alternative ways of doing things in my mind.
When I got married, I started to cook properly, in my own kitchen and using my own mind. I started to trial ways of cooking and cooked what I felt most confident with, this at first was just rice and a few curries! but then I started to get the hang of doing many dishes and meals after I had my first child and kept trying until I got the perfect taste. Now, instead of charging people in restaurants, I decided to make a blog for all those students, mothers or anyone! to make the best curries or other meals cheaply to your satisfaction.
